Replacing Stereo Speakers on a Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

Want to remove the door panel? How do you take off the panel and the car speakers? Let's see how to remove the panel and the stereo speakers. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Remove the window switch panel located in the handle (disconnect the power connector), unscrew the screws in the handle, then remove it from the trim near the lever (remove the securing screws). Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the securing clips. Grip the panel with your hands and pry it away from the door. Remove the speaker from inside the car door.
