In this tutorial, see how to replace the front door speaker in a Volkswagen Passat, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure the key is not in the ignition.

Start by opening the door in question, then unclip the handle cover, unscrew the exposed screws, and those located on the lower edge of the panel. Once done, grasp the panel, separate it from the door, and disconnect the various internal cables.

The speaker is fixed to the mount with metal rivets, which need to be removed using a drill. Finally, insert the replacement part and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
