Replacing the button cell battery inside the key of the new Volkswagen Golf has been further simplified thanks to a compact and minimalist design. To access the exhausted battery, simply remove the back part of the cover with your hands, and you will have access to the battery underneath. For easier removal, it is recommended to use a small flat screwdriver (or similar). Finally, once the old battery is removed, insert a new compatible one and close the cover correctly.
