How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Caddy

The service light on your car does not indicate any type of fault within the engine compartment or other vehicle components. It is simply a reminder that activates after a certain number of miles, indicating the need for routine maintenance. To eliminate it permanently, follow these simple steps. With the car completely off, press the brake pedal and simultaneously press the "0.0/Set" button located below the speedometer. Turn on the ignition and release the pedal. At this point, release the button and press the one located below the rev counter. Immediately after, release it and press the "0.0/Set" button one last time. Finally, turn off the ignition. Press the hazard light button and repeat the entire procedure. Once done, press the hazard button one last time and turn off the ignition.
