Replacing the Temperature Sensor

The temperature sensor is used to measure the engine temperature. It is an electronic component whose resistance decreases as the temperature increases. Thanks to this sensor, the driver is always aware of the engine temperature, which is particularly important to avoid overheating. To replace it, you should know that the sensor is generally screwed into the cylinder head. Its replacement is not difficult and can be done fairly quickly. Disconnect the wires, unscrew the faulty sensor, screw in the new one, and then reconnect the wires, cleaning the contacts beforehand.
