In this video tutorial, you will see how to remove and replace the rocker cover and gasket on the Volkswagen Golf Mk5 1.6 TDI, as well as on the Polo and Jetta. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the upper engine cover; then, unscrew the fixing screws of the upper valve cover and disconnect the metal levers found below, as shown in the video. At this point, move the wiring of the aluminium pipes to remove the valve cover; remove and replace the old gasket!
