The failure of the pump injectors and their wiring that equip VW and Audi engines is well recognised, and the peculiarity lies in their location: the injectors and wiring are located under the rocker cover, immersed in oil; to remove them, you must first remove the rocker cover, which also requires removing the timing belt cover; once this cover is removed, you need to dismantle the pushrod and rocker system which, driven by the camshaft, activates the injector; then unscrew the securing screw of the injector itself, disconnect the connector, and pull it upwards firmly to extract it.
