How to Adjust the Injectors on the Volkswagen Golf 5

To adjust the load of the injectors, follow these steps: First, remove the engine cover to access the rockers that transfer motion from the camshaft to the injector pump. Position the cam that actuates the injector pump at its top dead centre, which means the injector pump is at its bottom dead centre. At this point, tighten the injector adjustment screw until you feel a distinct resistance, then loosen it by 180°. Proceed in the same manner for the other injectors.
