Seat Disassembly Instructions and Seatbelt Hook Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

To replace the seatbelt anchor support fixed laterally to the seat on the side of the centre tunnel, it is necessary to disassemble the seat to access the fixing pin of the support bracket. Start by removing the plastic cover on the seat's sliding rails; then undo the securing nuts located at the front of the seat, near the lever that allows adjustment. At this point, disengage the lever and slide the seat backwards until it is removed from the rails (take care with the airbag cable).
You can now undo the fixing pin of the seatbelt anchor bracket and replace it. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
