The instructions in this guide will show you how to remove and replace the driver's side seatbelt of the Volkswagen Golf. First, open the front door and start by removing the plastic cover of the side pillar, prying it off from the sides; then unscrew the bolt located at the bottom of the seatbelt using a Torx spanner, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the seatbelt pretensioner by unscrewing the bolt and disconnecting the electrical connector; if necessary, also remove the seatbelt attachment, replacing the components with new original ones.
