Removing the Front Headlight on a Volkswagen Golf 5

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

It does not matter whether you remove the right or left front headlight, but first, you must remove the front bumper. In many of our other tutorials, we show you how to do this; here, I will briefly tell you that you need to unscrew the lower and upper bolts and those in the wheel arch. Disconnect the connector located behind the headlight. Unscrew the three T25 Torx screws that secure the headlight, which are clearly indicated in the video (one below the headlight, one above, and one towards the centre of the bumper). Pull the headlight out of its housing and disconnect the connector. Proceed in reverse for reassembly. Cheers!
