Volkswagen New Beetle - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012
Part: Brake discs
Operation: Headlight bulb replacement

Once the car has been raised on the bridge, remove the front wheel and proceed with the disassembly of the brake calliper after having removed the protective caps of the fixing pins; then disconnect the wear sensor socket and remove the pad retaining spring before removing the caliper. Then remove the caliper support and then the disc (it may take a few hammer blows to release it from the hub seat). Then clean the new disc from the protective oil and install it on the hub by tightening the relative fixing pin. Then install the caliper holder, insert the new pads and then the caliper after retracting the piston using an arc clamp or parrot caliper. Then hook the wear sensor to the pad retaining spring and pay attention to the first braking operations.
