Operation: How do you replace the water pump on the Volkswagen Golf 2?

The replacement of the Volkswagen Golf 2 water pump is possible by opening the hood to access the engine compartment and open the cap of the tank containing the coolant. After having removed the protection in the lower part, the thermostat must be removed, collecting the liquid inside a tray. At this point the poly-v belt can be removed: once this and its pulleys have been removed, it will be possible to remove the water pump from its housing and replace it with a new spare part. After the replacement, all previously disassembled parts can be installed.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
