How to Replace the Water Pump on a Volkswagen Golf 3?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf III, MK 3, Golf 3 - Years 1991-1997

To replace the water pump on a Volkswagen Golf 3, open the bonnet to remove the cover from the top of the engine. Additionally, since the water pump is located on the left side of the engine block, you will need to remove some obstructing parts such as the air filter. This will allow you to unscrew the bolts securing the water pump and remove it from its housing. Once removed, you can fit the new replacement part and reassemble all the other components that were taken off.
