How to Replace the Battery in a Volkswagen Passat

To replace the battery in a Volkswagen Passat, first access the engine bay: enter the cabin and pull the lever that unlocks it. This lever is located low on the driver's side, beneath the dashboard and on the left. Now release the catch on the front bonnet and lift the lid. Once the battery is identified, start removing the pins that secure the terminals; after removing it from its protective box, extract the battery. Place the new battery in its place and follow the reverse process until everything is closed.
