To replace the cabin filter in the Volkswagen Tiguan, detach the carpet located directly under the glove compartment on the passenger side. Once the carpet is removed, you can take off the cover of the box containing the air filter by pulling it out of its housing and replacing it with a new spare part.

After inserting the new filter, close the box with the cover and reposition the carpet under the glove compartment.
