In this video, see how to remove the external wing mirrors from the Volkswagen Golf 7. First, remove the inner door panel. Start by taking off the handle cover to access the screw inside, then undo the screw beneath it and unclip the clip at the lower edge.

At this point, pull the panel away and disconnect the various connectors. To remove the mirror, simply unscrew the two fixing screws.

Refit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
