How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Volkswagen Transporter?

To replace the timing belt on a Volkswagen Transporter, open the bonnet and remove some obstructing parts located on the left side of the engine block. Once these are removed, detach the plastic covers on the side of the engine to access the pulleys. By loosening the tensioner roller, you can reduce the tension on the belt and remove it completely, replacing it with a new spare part. After installing the new belt, refit all the removed parts.
