The dash cam is a small security camera that, mounted on a vehicle, allows you to record and track everything that happens; it is indeed a tool widely used by law enforcement and often used as a 'black box' by many insurance companies to obtain precise information on any accidents. In addition to standard video recording, position data, time, speed, G-forces, and audio are often saved simultaneously via an integrated GPS. Data is continuously saved in a loop (the length of the loop can be set); recording stops at the request of the user (by pressing a button) or upon the occurrence of a specific event (such as acceleration/deceleration exceeding 3G, i.e., an accident). This way, you can have a complete recording of the incident and all the causes that triggered it, under various visibility conditions, as shown in the video.
