How to Replace the Fuel Filter on a Volkswagen Polo.

In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the fuel filter on a Volkswagen Polo 1.6 TDI by following some essential steps: the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter every 56,000 miles and checking it at 37,000 miles. The first step is to purchase a new diesel filter; the next step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop. Place a cloth around the filter container as it may splash when full. Using a Torx key size 20, unscrew the screws of the diesel filter cover. Once all screws are removed, lift the cover; if it does not open, use a flathead screwdriver to pry it open. Remove the old filter and use a suitable syringe to suck out the diesel inside the basket (water accumulates in the basket due to the separation process). Replace the old filter with the new one and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
