In this video tutorial, see how to replace the door panel fabric on a Volkswagen Golf by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is remove the door panel. Once the panel is removed, you need to take out the fixing elements (Torx screws) of the handle; after removing the handle, proceed to remove the welding points. Use a filter mask when working as PPE. If the adhesive is very sticky, you can use a nitro thinner. The next step is to dry the surface thoroughly; now, proceed to carefully file the plastic burrs. Always keep the workbench clean. Cut the fabric that needs to be glued and use high-temperature glue. Using the mask as PPE, start gluing a small section and let it dry for 5-10 minutes, attaching the fabric to the surface to ensure a perfect bond. Proceed piece by piece as there are curves in the surface.
