Removing the Door Panel and Wing Mirror

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

To remove the door panel, first disconnect the window winder handle; then remove the trim covering the internal handle to access the screws underneath that need to be removed; next, unscrew the screws along the lower edge of the panel; then unclip the retaining clips, pull away the panel, and disconnect the connectors and the cable for the opening lever; remove the triangular plastic cover corresponding to the external wing mirror and unscrew the mounting screws of the mirror itself, which can then be removed. Reverse the process to install the new mirror and then the panel.
