Fog lights play a very important role in improving visibility while driving in heavy fog. For this reason, it is essential to perform regular maintenance and replace them when necessary. To do this on your Volkswagen Passat, first disconnect the battery to ensure maximum safety. Next, go to the fog light that needs replacing and, using a suitable screwdriver, unscrew the screw located on the side of the plastic cover. Remove the cover and take out the bulb. Simply replace it with a new one and reassemble everything correctly. Finally, reconnect the battery.
