In this brief guide, we will provide instructions for removing the rear light and replacing the stop bulbs on a Volkswagen Passat. First, open the boot lid and begin removing the side panel to access the inside of the rear light; unscrew the plastic screw and disconnect the electrical connector of the bulbs to remove the light.

At this point, separate the bulb holder from the housing, replacing the faulty stop lights; reinstall and reconnect the rear light, checking its operation.
