How to Replace the Fog Light Bulb in a Volkswagen Passat?

To replace the fog light bulb in a Volkswagen Passat, loosen the screws securing the grille around the light, located at the lower side of the bumper. Once the grille is removed, you will have access to the screws holding the light in place: it can then be extracted by disconnecting the connectors inside. At this point, the bulb inside the light can be removed from its housing, replaced with a new spare part, and the light reinstalled in its position.
