Replacing the battery inside the key of your Volkswagen Touareg Mk1 (2002-2010) takes just a few minutes and, with the following instructions, you will have no difficulty during the entire procedure. First, press the button located on the back of the cover and pull out the emergency key blade. Next, remove the rear cover and locate the button battery situated just underneath. Finally, remove the old battery and replace it with a new compatible battery (model CR2032).
