To replace the front seat in a Volkswagen Golf 4, push the seat backwards to loosen the screws securing it to the front sliding rails. Next, push it forward to loosen the bolts at the rear. Once all these bolts are loosened, you can unscrew the central ones and disconnect the connector underneath. This way, you can slide the seat out of the cabin and replace it with a new one that should be properly installed.
