In order to replace the V-belt of the Volkswagen Golf 5 you have to remove the panel located in the lower part of the engine compartment, loosening the appropriate bolts. Once these have been removed, it will be possible to access the V-belt: by moving the relevant tensioning roller, it will be possible to reduce its tension and completely remove the belt from its housing. Once the old belt has been removed, a new one can be inserted, also by moving the idler roller and reinstalling the lower engine compartment cover.
