Operation: How to replace the alternator belt on Volkswagen Golf 7 1.6 TDI

Let's see in this guide how to remove and replace the alternator belt or the V-belt of the Volkswagen Golf seventh series, with 1.6 TDI engine. First of all, let's remove the front wheel, lifting the car; then we remove the right wheel arch and the lower engine cover, in order to access our alternator belt. At this point we use a 16 mm socket wrench to loosen our belt pretensioner, in order to remove it; let's replace it with the new one, of the right type, inserting it correctly and then turning it by hand.
