It is common for the plastic hinges of the central tunnel armrest to break, as well as those of the glove box door: there are repair kits available that not only restore the hinges but also permanently solve the breakage issue, as they are very robust.

To repair the armrest hinge, remove the original ribs from the base using an air circular saw; then apply the first part of the new kit, securing it with a self-tapping screw, followed by inserting the second part and applying the other screws.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
