Instructions for Removing the Door Panel

Model: Volkswagen Sharan MK 1, 7M - Years 1995-2010
Part: Door trim panel

To remove the door panel, first remove the trim moulding of the panel itself (in this case with an aluminium effect finish) and the internal cover of the handle, beneath which are some screws securing the panel; the other screws are located along the edges. Once the screws are removed, lever along the edges to disengage the clips and pull the panel away from the door to disconnect the connectors and the lock cable (window lifter, speaker, courtesy lights): if any clips remain attached to the door, extract them and attach them to the panel before reassembling.
