Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Sharan MK 1, 7M - Years 1995-2010

Before proceeding with the air conditioning compressor replacement, recover the gas from the system using the appropriate equipment. Once the gas is recovered, lift the vehicle to access the underbody and remove the protection panel located under the engine: the air conditioning compressor is immediately visible; then loosen the tensioner of the auxiliary belt to free the pulley, disconnect the connector and the pipes, and then remove the mounting pins of the compressor itself, taking it out from below; install the new compressor by securing it with the respective pins, connecting the pipes, the connector, the auxiliary belt, and then refit the panel; finally, use the appropriate tool to perform the vacuum, recharge the gas, and insert oil into the compressor.
