How to Replace the Headlight on a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

To remove the front headlight of the vehicle, follow these steps: locate the headlight assembly to be removed, there are 5 bolts to undo on the top of the headlight, then remove the upper metal plate. Disconnect the headlight assembly by pulling it towards you, first from one side and then the other, to pull it out of its housing. Then, use a small screwdriver to disconnect the electrical connector located behind the headlight. At this point, the headlight assembly will be free; take the new headlight assembly and position it in the bodywork housing after reconnecting the electrical connector. Refit the metal plate and reassemble the 5 bolts.
