Replacing the Window Switch Panel

Model: Volkswagen Sharan MK 1, 7M - Years 1995-2010

The first step to replace the window switch panel in your car is to buy a new one. Following this guide, the replacement procedure can be carried out without causing damage and with minimal effort, taking not much time. To access the motor, remove the door cover panel by unscrewing the screws located in the handle area and in the section housing the window switch buttons. Then disconnect the connectors at the base of the buttons and remove the internal cover of the rearview mirror that is at the base of the pivot and is useful for its adjustment. Next, disconnect the electrical wires powering it, being careful not to damage them with abrupt movements, and then move to the mechanical arm that supports the glass, which is attached to the glass via a plastic support. Once the glass is freed, support it to prevent it from falling and secure it with the help of a screwdriver.
