In today's video, see how to dismantle the mechatronics of the DSG gearbox in Volkswagen group cars. Specifically, this applies to a Golf GTD, but it also works for other models equipped with the same unit. This operation is often necessary to replace the gearbox solenoid. Fortunately, it is not necessary to remove the gearbox. First, remove the oil sump. Make sure to place a fluid collection tray underneath. Once you have replaced the component in question, proceed with a complete service to rebalance the fluids, then finish your current work.
