How to replace the DSG mechatronics of the Volkswagen Golf 7

To replace the mechatronics of the automatic DSG gearbox of the Volkswagen Golf 7, we lift the car on a lift, we unscrew the screws holding the oil pan of the gearbox putting a container underneath to drain the oil; we let the gearbox oil drain; after it has drained, we unscrew the screws holding the mechatronics; once the mechatronics is removed, we unscrew the gearbox oil filter, replace it, take the new mechatronics, position it and screw it in; once the new mechatronics is fixed, we put back the gearbox oil pan, fill the gearbox with its new oil and proceed with the learning of the new control unit compared to the old one, adjusting the gears as well. Once this last operation with the engine control unit is done, we can lower the car.
