In this tutorial, learn how to replace the rear lock on the Volkswagen Polo, a straightforward task. First, open the door you will be working on, then unclip the cover of the internal handle and remove the window winder knob.

Next, unscrew the released screws, pry along the bottom edge of the panel, and unclip it from the door. At this point, remove the bolts located on the inner edge, extract the lock cylinder, and disassemble the lock.

To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
