The legal chassis number (VIN) is what you must show to the DVLA during a visit and check, or to the police if stopped for a cross-check with the chassis number indicated on your registration document: you must be able to indicate where the chassis number of your vehicle is located, which is not the one indicated on the front windscreen.

That plate is referred to as "courtesy" and is used by dealers for their movements before delivery to the final customer.

To find the VIN of the Touareg MK2, open the rear hatch and lift the load floor: the chassis number is stamped on the part of the chassis that supports the load floor itself.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
