Replacement of External Rear-View Mirror

Replacing the mirror of the external rear-view mirror is very simple as it is merely clipped onto the support. However, take particular care not to damage the support itself. It is sufficient to pry at the back of the mirror to release it, then disconnect the heating element power cable. Bring the new mirror closer, connect the cable to the heating terminal, and align it with the support, pressing evenly in the centre to engage the clips.
