Changing the battery in the remote key of the Volkswagen Touareg is such a simple task that even a child could successfully complete it in a few minutes. As shown in the video, there is no need to disassemble the remote as is required for other car brands, because in this case, the battery is located behind the external cover installed on the back of the remote (on the side opposite to the button panel). Simply remove this plastic panel and extract the battery using a flathead screwdriver if necessary.
