In this short video, see how to dismantle and replace the battery of the remote key for the Volkswagen Touareg third series, as well as the Tiguan. First, take your remote and start by removing the physical key from inside it; then lever on the sides of the plastic cover to remove it, thus accessing the battery compartment, as shown in the video. Now replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it the right way and reassemble the plastic cover of the key!
