Through these brief and simple steps, we will see how to remove and replace the battery of the remote key for the Volkswagen Touareg. First, take your remote and start extracting the physical key from the remote by pressing the small button.

Then, use a thin plastic lever to unclip and remove the cover of the remote, as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); once the remote is assembled, you can test its functionality.
