How to Replace the Rear Bumper on the Volkswagen Passat?

To replace the rear bumper on the Volkswagen Passat, loosen all the screws that secure it to its housing. These are located at the bottom of the vehicle and in the rear wheel arch areas. Next, open the tailgate and move the carpet near the lights to access the screws securing them from the inside. Therefore, the rear lights must be removed from their housing to loosen the additional screws located beneath them. Once these screws are also loosened, you can completely remove the bumper and replace it with a new one.
