Volkswagen Caddy - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Caddy MK 3, 2K - Years 2003-2020
Part: Arm
Operation: Replacement of the oscillating arm silent blok bushing

It happens quite frequently that the silent blocks (the bushings with the rubber inside that act as dampers) of the suspension wishbones can yield, making driving on the bumpy particularly noisy: in this case it is possible to evaluate whether to replace the entire arm or the single bushing; then start by lifting the car on a lift to remove the swinging arm of the suspension; make a cut on the damaged bushing so that it can shrink during the extraction phase and make this maneuver easier; then apply the new bushing by pressing it inside the arm seat with a ball wrench inside the vice (or under a press).

How to reset the oil service in the Fiat Toro?

In this tutorial we can see how to reset the oil service in the Fiat Toro. Before carrying out this simple and quick operation, make sure that you have completed any required maintenance work. We start by inserting the key but leaving it in the initial position, after which we keep the accelerator pedal fully depressed and at the same time turn on the instrument panel. At this point, always keeping the accelerator pressed, press the brake pedal 5 consecutive times and, with the pedals in position, turn off the ignition. We check that the procedure has been successful by starting the vehicle.
