Replacement of Wishbone Silent Block

It is quite common for the silent blocks (the rubber bushings that act as dampers) of the suspension wishbones to fail, making the ride on uneven surfaces particularly noisy: in this case, you can decide whether to replace the entire wishbone or just the bushing; start by lifting the vehicle on a hydraulic lift to remove the suspension wishbone; make a cut on the damaged bushing so that it can shrink during extraction, making this manoeuvre easier; then, press the new bushing into the wishbone housing using a ball joint tool in a vice (or under a press).
