In this video tutorial, you can see how to reset the maintenance light on a Volkswagen Polo. When the service light with the spanner icon illuminates, the first step is to perform maintenance on the vehicle, such as changing the oil and filters. Next, enter the vehicle and engage the handbrake; there are buttons located below the speedometer that will be used. Remove the key and press the button located below the speedometer on the left; when the display lights up, release the button. When the time appears on the display, press and hold the button below the speedometer on the left again and turn on the ignition. Turn off the vehicle and then restart it to check that the Service light has turned off. Reset completed.
