To remove the dashboard of a Volkswagen Golf, start by unscrewing the screws located at the back of the steering wheel to extract the airbag at its centre: once the airbag is removed, loosen the central nut of the steering wheel and completely remove it. Now, proceed to detach the trims around the instrument cluster and then those surrounding the centre panel: by loosening the screws that secure the stereo and the climate control panel, you will be able to completely remove them and continue disassembling the additional trims.
