How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf 4?

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Golf 4, press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster while it is off. While holding it, insert the ignition key into the instrument cluster and turn it to power on the cluster. When it is on, release the button on the right side of the instrument cluster and turn the one on the left. Once this operation is completed, the light will turn off, and you can also switch off the instrument cluster.
