If you need to replace the battery in your vehicle's key because it has run out, the procedure and various steps necessary to achieve this are outlined below. First, open the key fob and use a sharp object to pry and release the cover.

Once the remote is open, leverage the seam at the back of the key to remove the cover. Underneath, you will find the battery, which can be removed using a sharp object and replaced with a new one, ensuring the polarity is correct.

Then, refit the cover and reattach the back of the key to the front.
