How to change the battery of a Volkswagen Jetta key

In today's video, we see the procedure for changing the battery of the remote control for a sixth series Volkswagen Jetta. First, we need to press the release button of the ignition key to remove it from its slot and then remove the back cover of the remote control as shown in the video. Once we have done that, we will immediately see the old battery to replace, so let's remove it using a small flathead screwdriver and insert a new battery with the positive side facing up, finally we put back the back cover by pressing it on the remote control.
