To replace the remote battery of the Volkswagen Jetta, press the button on the top of the device to lift the key. This will allow you to lever inside its housing to detach the cover on the back of the device. Once the panel is removed, you can extract the battery from its housing and replace it with a new spare part. At this point, close the remote again, ensuring everything works correctly with the new battery.
